Children's Activity Centre Instructor Jailed for Sexually Abusing Boys

A children's activity centre instructor, Adam Craig Sills (35), has been jailed for nine months after pleading guilty to sexually abusing two young boys.

Sills, who worked at the Govilon Activity Centre located at the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, admitted to the offenses in July of this year. The abuse took place in 2012 while the two 10-year-old boys were on a week-long school trip to Wales.

During the trial, the court heard that Sills had initially denied the charges. However, he eventually confessed to sexually assaulting the two boys. While Sills only admitted to abusing these two boys, authorities suspect he may have molested others.

In addition to the prison sentence, Sills was placed on a sexual offenses prevention order and ordered to sign the sex offenders register. He was also given an order prohibiting him from working with children in the future.
