Convicted Sex Offender Wanted by Police

Lancashire Police are seeking Afraz Shoaib Asif, a 40-year-old convicted sex offender, who is wanted for breaching his notification requirements and failing to appear in court.

Asif failed to appear before Blackburn Magistrates' Court for sentencing on charges of breaching notification requirements for the Sex Offenders' Register and breaching post-sentence supervision.

He was last seen in Blackburn but has links to Great Harwood.

A Lancashire Police spokesperson described Asif as follows:

• 5ft 10 inches tall
• Medium build
• Grey/black beard
• Rose tattoo on his right arm
• Tattoo on the base of his left thumb
