Child sex offender filmed secret intimate videos.

An 87-year-old man, Alan Barclay, has been found guilty of voyeurism after intimate videos of a woman, taken without her consent 18 years ago, were discovered in his possession.

Barclay, who was recently released from prison for possessing child abuse materials, appeared in Truro Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

The videos, taken in 2006, were found on CDs along with further child abuse images during a police search of Barclay's home.

The woman, who was unaware she had been filmed, was "horrified and devastated" upon learning about the videos.

Barclay, who defended himself in court, claimed the videos were transferred onto a disc along with other holiday pictures and denied any voyeuristic intent.

However, the magistrates found Barclay's evidence not credible and found him guilty of the charge.

He will be sentenced at the crown court next week.
