Court Sentences Paedophile for Child Abuse

A man has been sentenced to prison for eight years for the rape and abuse of a child under 13.

The individual, identified as Andrew Rutter, pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to child sexual abuse, including rape and sexual assault.

The sentencing hearing took place at Teesside Crown Court. The judge also imposed an extended licence period and other restrictions following Rutter's release from prison.
