Predatory sex offender who raped two women after tricking them to gain their confidence.

Predatory Sex Offender Jailed for Nine Years After Raping Two Women

Ansaf Saeedy, 21, of Alfreton Road, Nottingham, was sentenced to nine years in prison after being convicted of two counts of rape at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday, February 16th. A judge described Saeedy as an "opportunist" who preyed on his victims, disregarding their consent.

The first victim was targeted in the early hours of May 26, 2021, when Saeedy approached her in Nottingham city centre while riding a scooter. He invited her to a party, bought her alcohol, and then took her to a flat where he continued to ply her with alcohol before raping her.

Saeedy denied the assault and repeatedly lied about the events, even in the face of forensic evidence.

The second victim agreed to meet Saeedy for food on August 27, 2022. He tricked his way into her flat and raped her.

Detectives conducted a thorough investigation into both incidents while providing support to the victims and their families. Saeedy's refusal to admit his guilt or express remorse forced the victims to endure the added trauma of a court trial.
