Sex offender caught after victim's mum called police.

A mother contacted police after her 14-year-old daughter received a package containing crotchless underwear.

The mother, whose daughter cannot be identified for legal reasons, questioned her about the package and learned that her daughter had been communicating online with Ashton Drake, a man nine years her senior.

Norwich Crown Court heard that Drake had requested naked images of the victim and had filmed himself performing sexual acts, asking her to do the same.

These messages were exchanged over a period of a few days between December 24, 2019, and January 4, 2020.

Drake, now 27, appeared in court for sentencing on October 13th. He had previously admitted to one count of causing a child to watch a sexual act.

Drake, who resides at Alexandra Road, Sheringham, was sentenced for his crimes.
