Benjamin Levy Jailed For 16 Years After Months Of Abuse

A dangerous abuser has been imprisoned for 16 years after subjecting a woman to months of physical and emotional torment.

Benjamin Levy, a 36-year-old from Brierley Hill, was found guilty of a horrific catalogue of offenses including assault, controlling behavior, threats to kill, sexual violence, and coercive control.

Levy inflicted brutal physical abuse on his victim, slamming her head into door frames, throwing her against radiators, and striking her with a gym weight. He also subjected her to relentless emotional manipulation and repeatedly threatened her life.

Despite the terror he inflicted, Levy's victim bravely spoke out about her abuse. Her courage led to an investigation by law enforcement officials who gathered compelling evidence against him. Levy initially denied the charges but ultimately pleaded guilty in court last week.

In addition to his 16-year prison sentence, which includes a further five years on license, Levy will remain on the sex offender register for life. The judge at Wolverhampton Crown Court emphasized the severity of his crimes and the need to protect the public from further harm.
