Sex offender convicted of sexual activity with a girl under 16 breached his notification requirements.

Lancashire Police Seek Convicted Sex Offender Biaron Cross

Lancashire Police are appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of Biaron Cross, 25, who is wanted for breaching his notification requirements and failing to notify police of his current address.

Cross, who was understood to be living in Preston, may now be in the Blackburn area. He has also breached the terms of his electronic tag.

In 2010, Cross was sentenced to 32 months in prison after being convicted of sexual activity with a girl under 16. He was subsequently required to register as a sex offender.

This September, he was arrested and charged for breaching his notification requirements. He is described as being 6'3? tall, with dark shaven hair and usually clean-shaven. He has a stud in his left ear.

Detective Chief Inspector Claire McEnery of Lancashire Constabulary's Public Protection Unit stated, "We take any breach of notification requirements very seriously. We urge anyone with information on Cross's whereabouts to contact us. We also urge Cross himself, if he sees this appeal, to hand himself in to the police rather than evading us, which will only make the situation worse for him."
