Convicted sex offender covertly attached a tiny camera to a woman's clothing.

A convicted sex offender, Brian Cocker, 36, has been found guilty of covertly filming "upskirt" videos of a woman and possessing child pornography.

Cocker, from Perth, Scotland, secretly attached a tiny camera to the woman's clothing to film her without her knowledge or consent. The illicit footage was discovered on his mobile phone along with a folder titled "Candid Teens" containing child pornography.

Perth Sheriff Court sentenced Cocker to 200 hours of unpaid community work and placed him on the Sex Offenders Register for three years. He was also banned from play parks and other areas frequented by children.

The court was told that police officers discovered the spycam footage during a routine visit to Cocker's home. He admitted to operating the equipment under the woman's clothing to film her genitals, buttocks, and underwear without her consent.

Cocker has a history of sexual offenses, having previously been jailed for ten months in 2014 for grooming a 15-year-old girl for sex.

The court was presented with reports indicating Cocker poses a medium risk of sexual reoffending. Despite his history, the court opted for a non-custodial sentence, considering the time elapsed since his previous offense.
