57-Year-Old Man Sentenced to Nine Years for Violence and Sexual Offences

A 57-year-old man, Brian McGlashan, has been sentenced to nine years in prison after being convicted of violence and sexual offences against three women between 1996 and 2019.

The crimes occurred at addresses in the Perthshire area. McGlashan was found guilty of the offences, including rape and assault, following a trial at the High Court in Dundee on Wednesday, 5 June, 2024.

He was sentenced today, Wednesday, 3 July 2024, at the High Court in Paisley and placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
