A SOUTHAMPTON sex offender has been jailed for having a child in his car.

Daniel Turnbull Jailed for Breaching Sexual Harm Prevention Order

Daniel Turnbull, 33, of High Road, was sentenced to six months in prison after pleading guilty to breaching a sexual harm prevention order. The incident occurred earlier this month in South Street, Titchfield, and involved a teenager being in his car.

Documents from Portsmouth Magistrates' Court revealed that the breach was deliberate and deemed so serious that only a custodial sentence could be justified.

In addition to the prison sentence, Turnbull was ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge.
