Danny McNaughton Jailed for Rape and Sexual Offences Against Two Children

Danny McNaughton, a 38-year-old man from Grimsby, Lincolnshire, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for serious sexual offences against two children.

McNaughton was found guilty by a unanimous jury at Grimsby Crown Court on four counts of rape of a child, six counts of sexual activity with a child, and three counts of sexual assault of a child under 13. He also pleaded guilty to four counts of penetrative sexual activity with a child and causing a child to engage in sexual activity.

The prosecution, led by Richard Butters, presented the case against McNaughton. In addition to his prison sentence, McNaughton was placed on the Sex Offender Register for life.
