Man Jailed for 15 Years for Child Sex Offenses

David Brown, 59, from Brownhills, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for inciting boys to engage in sexual activity online and distributing child abuse images.

Brown pleaded guilty to charges related to making and distributing indecent images of children. He was also found guilty after a trial for attempting to incite boys to engage in sexual activity and arranging child sex offenses.

The court heard that Brown used the internet to share indecent images of children, and that his computers contained a large number of images and search terms related to child sexual abuse.

Police discovered online conversations in which Brown instructed a man in Africa to abuse children in exchange for payment.

In addition to his prison sentence, Brown was placed on the sex offender register for life and will be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
