Keighley Man Jailed for Two Years Following Facebook 'Sting'
A Keighley man, David Houldsworth, 58, of Skipton Road, has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to two charges: sexual communication with a child and causing/inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
The sentence, handed down at Bradford Crown Court, also includes a ten-year registration on the sex offenders register and a sexual harm prevention order upon his release.
Detective Constable Adam Flaxington, from the Bradford district policing online investigations team, commented on the case: "This was a lengthy, two-year investigation, and I welcome the guilty plea and sentence the court has handed down."
"In Houldsworth's conversations, he demonstrated clear intent to commit sexual offending against young children. It is fortunate that the person he thought he was speaking with wasn't a child."
