Man who filmed child put on sex offenders register.

Man Placed on Sex Offenders Register for Filming Child

David Martin Grogan, 48, of Ladies Drive, Lerwick, was placed on the sex offenders register after admitting to four sexual offenses charges at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

Grogan pleaded guilty to voyeurism, including recording a child without their knowledge using a concealed mobile phone in June 2019. He also admitted to taking indecent photographs of the child in June and November 2019.

Additionally, Grogan was charged with using a concealed mobile to record the child on September 5th, 2019, and November 20th, 2019.

Grogan's case was adjourned until August 12th for the preparation of reports and a restriction of liberty assessment.
