Ipswich Man Sentenced to 21 Years for Sexual Offenses
David Miller, 44, of Hervey Street in Ipswich, was sentenced to 21 years imprisonment at Ipswich Crown Court today, Thursday 20 June. Miller was found guilty by a jury on all counts after a nine-day trial. He had pleaded not guilty to 16 offenses, including rape, indecent assault, causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, and sexual activity with a child.
The offenses, which took place between December 2002 and December 2019, involved three children. Miller was first arrested in October 2020 and charged in October 2022 following a detailed investigation.
The court heard that Miller targeted vulnerable adult women with the intention of abusing their children, all of whom were boys. He was found guilty on all counts by a unanimous jury decision on Friday 14 May.
