Depraved man with an obsession for child abuse images took pictures of teenagers urinating in public.

Depraved Man Sentenced for Child Abuse Images and Voyeurism

David Parsons, 38, was sentenced to three years in prison for possessing and distributing hundreds of indecent images of children, including some as young as six months old. He was also convicted of voyeurism for secretly taking photos of teenagers urinating in public toilets, including at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Parsons' partner, James Carlyon, was also found with indecent images of children and was sentenced to eight months in prison, suspended for two years.

The court heard that Parsons had a history of child sexual abuse offenses, having been previously convicted in 2011 for possessing indecent images of children.

The judge, Michael Fitton QC, described Parsons as a "depraved man" with an "obsession" with child abuse images. He said that Parsons' actions were "degraded" and "shared interest" with Carlyon was a factor in his sentencing.

Both Parsons and Carlyon were also made subject to sexual harm prevention orders.

The case highlights the dangers of online child sexual abuse and the importance of reporting any suspected cases.
