Man Jailed for Sexual Offence Against Child

David Shaw, formerly of Winsford but more recently Crewe, was found guilty on January 31, 2022, of committing a serious sexual offence against a child under five years old. The child was known to Shaw.

At Chester Crown Court, Shaw was sentenced to three years and six months imprisonment.

A sexual harm prevention order was put in place to prevent Shaw from engaging in the following activities:

• Having any unsupervised access to any child aged under 16
• Must not live in the same household as a child aged under 16 without written approval from children's social services
• Conditions not to have any contact with the victim
