Sex offender guilty of exposing himself to a little girl while on a milk float and sexually assaulting another child.

Man Found Guilty of Exposing Himself to Child and Sexually Assaulting Another

Edward Walton, 55, a convicted sex offender, was found guilty on April 8th of six charges following a trial at Hove Crown Court.

One charge stemmed from an incident between 2004 and 2006 where he exposed himself while on a milk float. He was acquitted of a separate count of causing an 11-year-old child to watch pornography.

In regards to the second victim, Walton was convicted of three counts of sexual assault and two counts of causing her to watch pornography when she was nine or ten years old.

Walton showed no reaction as the jury foreman announced the guilty verdicts, which were unanimous decisions. These offenses occurred between 2004 and 2015 at addresses in Littlehampton and Barnham where he resided, according to police.

Following the conviction, Walton's defense attorney, Jack Talbot, informed the court that Walton is currently serving a prison sentence at HM Prison Littlehey in Cambridgeshire for several serious sexual offenses.

At the conclusion of the trial, Judge Anthony Hawks expressed gratitude to the jury for their civic duty. He acknowledged the case's complexity.

Walton is scheduled to be sentenced at Hove Crown Court on June 10th.
