Dunfermline Man Sent Indecent Image to Undercover Officer

A Dunfermline man, Ernest Nicholson (58), of Berry Law Place, has been placed on the sex offenders register after admitting to sending an indecent image to an undercover police officer.

Nicholson appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on [date of court appearance] and pleaded guilty to two charges.

Between January 9 and 16 last year, he sent an image of a naked penis via social media to someone he believed was a child. The recipient was actually an undercover police officer.

Nicholson also admitted to sending sexual written communications to the undercover officer, believing the recipient to be a child.

Sentencing has been deferred until March 14 for reports.
