Sex offender is jailed after stabbing a man in the back.

Man Jailed for Stabbing in High Wycombe

Florin Suta, 41, of Green Street, High Wycombe, has been sentenced to four years in prison for stabbing a man in the back following an altercation on July 14.

Suta pleaded guilty to one count each of Section 18 wounding with intent, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and failing to comply with notification requirements at a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court on September 7.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:50 pm on Green Street when a group of people were involved in a brawl. After the victim left an address on Green Street, Suta emerged from an alleyway and stabbed him once in the back. The victim then ran away, pursued by Suta, who tripped and fell.

Several witnesses identified Suta and informed officers that he was in possession of a knife, leading to his arrest. CCTV footage corroborated the witness accounts.

Following his arrest, officers discovered that Suta was living at a different address than the one he had provided and had failed to notify the police of the change. As a registered sex offender, he was obligated to notify police within three days of any address change.

Detective Constable Will Blundell of South Buckinghamshire CID stated that Suta's attack was targeted and intended to cause injury. He added that Suta displayed no remorse for his actions and remained in possession of the knife while calling the police.

The incident caused significant disturbance in the neighborhood, with numerous residents coming out onto the street. Thankfully, no one else was injured.
