31-Year-Old Sex Offender Returns to Prison for SHPO Breach
Freddie Millar, who also identifies as Xenia Jade Millar, has been sent back to prison after breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
Millar, previously of Northampton, was issued with the SHPO in 2017 following a conviction for rape. As a registered sex offender, he was required to comply with strict conditions upon his release from prison in September 2022.
These conditions included notifying the police of any new relationships, social media accounts, or internet-capable devices. However, Millar failed to meet these obligations.
On December 8, 2023, police officers from Northamptonshire Police's MOSOVO Team conducted a spontaneous visit to Millar's residence. They discovered a laptop and a woman who claimed to be in a relationship with Millar, neither of which had been disclosed to authorities.
A subsequent visit by the MOSOVO Team on January 22 revealed a mobile phone with multiple undisclosed social media accounts. Conversations on the phone indicated Millar had formed undisclosed friendships or relationships.
As a result, Millar was charged with one count of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and one count of breaching notification requirements.
After pleading guilty to both offenses at Northampton Crown Court in December 2023, Millar returned to court on February 5 and was sentenced to one year and four months in prison.
