Linnvale Man Added to Sex Offenders Register for Child Photos

Gideon Currie, 20, of Kirkwood Avenue, Linnvale, has been placed on the sex offenders register for 30 months after pleading guilty to taking indecent photos of two children. The incident occurred on November 12, 2023, at Currie's home.

At his sentencing on Tuesday at Dumbarton Sheriff Court, Sheriff William Gallacher sentenced Currie to a community payback order. This order includes 30 months of supervision, 100 hours of unpaid work within the next six months, and his inclusion on the sex offenders register.
