Pensioner Misinterpreted Workplace Banter, Court Hears

Gordon Anderson, a former cleaner at the Salvation Army church in Perth city centre, has been accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a woman.

During the trial, Anderson's defense argued that he misinterpreted their interactions as friendly banter, leading to his actions.

The prosecution, however, maintains that Anderson's actions were deliberate and constitute sexual assault.

The case is currently ongoing in court.
