Graham Marshall and Paige Reaney Jailed for Bestiality and Child Abuse Images

Graham Marshall, a 39-year-old man, was sentenced to five and a half years in prison for twelve sex offences, including bestiality.

Sheffield Crown Court heard how Marshall coerced his partner, Paige Reaney, 33, into participating in his "perverted" sexual fantasies, which involved their pet dog over a three-year period.

Reaney was given a nine-month suspended sentence for bestiality and animal cruelty offences. Both Marshall and Reaney were banned from keeping animals indefinitely and placed on the sex offenders register.

The offending came to light in August 2021 when police seized devices from the couple's home following information about possession of illegal child images. These devices contained bestiality content, as well as voyeuristic material and indecent images of children.

During her arrest in January 2023, Reaney stated she was forced to sexually abuse their dog as part of Marshall's "fantasy" and confirmed he had previously sent her sexual images of dogs.

Judge Jeremy Richardson KC described Marshall's actions as "appalling sexual depravity" and expressed concern about his likelihood of reoffending, citing deeply ingrained harmful sexual perversions.

Marshall pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting, counselling or procuring intercourse with an animal, possession of extreme pornographic images, making indecent photographs of children, taking an indecent photograph of a child, and voyeurism.

The judge considered the case "perhaps the worst example" he had encountered in 45 years.
