Man Jailed for Child Sex Offences on Lincolnshire Coast

Kevin Clarke, 38, of Leicester, has been sentenced to six years in prison for child sex offences committed in Skegness over a period of nearly two years.

Clarke pleaded guilty to nine charges at Leicester Crown Court, including causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, engaging in sexual communication with a child, and making and possessing illegal images of children.

The charges relate to offences that occurred between January 1, 2021, and October 28, 2022.

According to Lincolnshire Police, Clarke had developed a relationship with the victim knowing she was only 14 years old when they first met.

DC Michelle Adamson of Lincolnshire Police PVP stated, "Getting this man convicted means he will not be able to offend against any other child or young person."
