Sex offender given 15-year extended sentence following conviction.

Man Sentenced to 15 Years for Sexual Offences in Staffordshire

Kieran Huthwaite, 31, of Bentilee, Stoke-on-Trent, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for multiple sexual offences.

Huthwaite was found guilty of abusing several survivors who bravely came forward and reported the crimes.

He was arrested in November 2021 after being reported to the police. Despite denying the accusations, Huthwaite was ultimately convicted following a trial at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.

On January 31, 2024, the jury found Huthwaite guilty of:

• Two counts of assault of a female under 13
• One count of rape of a female under 16
• One count of attempted rape of a female over 16
• One count of sexual assault of a girl under 13
• One count of sexual assault of a female over 16

On Tuesday, May 21, Huthwaite was given a 15-year extended sentence. He was also handed an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
