Nottingham Man Sentenced for Abuse of Two Teenage Girls

Leo Farodoye, 34, of North Road in Nottingham, was sentenced to 11 years and 4 months in prison on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Manchester Crown Court for multiple child sex offences.

Farodoye was convicted on May 24, 2024, for crimes including inciting a child to engage in a sex act, breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), engaging in sexual activity with a child, and taking indecent photos of a child. He received a 7-year and 4-month prison sentence with an extended license of 4 years.

The court heard that Farodoye had booked an Airbnb apartment in Manchester on December 12, 2023, under the pretense of a relaxing weekend with his wife. He was seen with two young females upon arrival on February 18, 2024, which prompted the police to be called after the owner became suspicious.

Farodoye fled the apartment through an upstairs window when police arrived. The two females, aged 15 and 17, confirmed they had traveled across the UK to meet Farodoye, believing they were participating in a photography shoot.

One victim revealed she had first met Farodoye in Nottingham in October 2023, where he provided her with alcohol before taking photographs. She was also subjected to a sexual assault during that meeting.

Police discovered photography equipment, lighting, backdrop screens, sexualized underwear and clothing, cash, and white powder in the apartment. Farodoye was arrested for sexual activity with a child and interviewed on February 21, 2024.

He was also arrested for suspected rape, breach of SHPO, and Registered Sex Offender (RSO) requirements.
