A Fife sex offender who once travelled 150 miles to meet a 15-year-old girl he groomed online has been jailed again for following teenagers around Glenrothes.

Liam Russell appeared by video link at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Tuesday and admitted breaching the terms of his Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO).

Russell, who was previously convicted of sexual offences, was banned from being in the company of under-18s unless supervised by a responsible adult. However, he was caught following teenagers in Glenrothes, violating the terms of his SOPO.

The court heard details of Russell's previous offences and the seriousness of his latest breach. As a result, he was sentenced to a period of imprisonment.
