Convicted sex offender who set up as an online clairvoyant has been sent back to jail.

Convicted Sex Offender Jailed for Online Clairvoyant Activity

Llewelyn Buckland, a convicted sex offender, has been sent back to jail after setting up as an online clairvoyant under a false name. Buckland, 48, of Frankwell Street, Tywyn in south Gwynedd, admitted to five charges including downloading indecent images of children, extreme pornography, and breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

The charges stemmed from Buckland's activities as an online clairvoyant, where he posted Tarot readings, some of which were sexual. He was apprehended soon after being released from a previous sentence.

During his appearance via video link from prison, defense attorney Simon Rogers argued that the latest offenses lacked sophistication. "It was inevitable he would be caught because his phone was not only monitored by software but checked by police," Rogers stated.

Judge Timothy Petts sentenced Buckland to 16 months in prison, citing his previous offenses as a significant aggravating factor. "The main aggravating feature was your previous offences," Judge Petts said. A life-long sex offenders' order remains in place.
