Calne Man Pleads Guilty to Child and Animal Abuse Image Possession

A Calne man, Luke Frewin, has been convicted of possessing a large collection of child and animal abuse images. Initially pleading not guilty to four sex offences, Frewin changed his plea to guilty on December 3rd, just days before his trial at Swindon Crown Court.

The 27-year-old father admitted to possessing 750 indecent images of children, with 239 categorized as category A, depicting penetrative sexual activity. Additionally, he admitted to possessing 57 extreme images involving sexual activity with animals.

On December 14th, Frewin was sentenced at the same court. He received a 15-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, and was ordered to complete 60 rehabilitation days.

Frewin, residing at Ebor Paddock, Calne, was also mandated to register as a sex offender for a period of ten years. A Sexual Harm Prevention Order was imposed concurrently.
