Man Sentenced to 12 Years for Sexual Offences

Mark Marvell, 39, of Meadow Way in Stevenage, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after being found guilty of a number of sexual offences, including rape.

The sentencing took place at St Albans Crown Court on Monday, December 21. Marvell was previously convicted of five counts of rape and multiple counts of possessing indecent images of children earlier this year.

In addition to the 12-year prison sentence, Marvell will also be subject to a further four and a half years on licence.
