Former PE teacher committed three counts of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 14.

Former PE teacher Michael Quinlan, of [zc], was sentenced to 22 months in prison, suspended, for three counts of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 14 and indecent assault on a male person.

Quinlan, now 73, had previously pleaded not guilty to the charges, but the jury found him guilty on three counts. He was found not guilty of another count of indecent assault on a male.

As part of the sentence, Quinlan has been placed on the sex offenders register for life.
