Airdrie Man Sentenced for Sexual Assault and Rape

Norman Smith from Airdrie has been found guilty of sexual assault and rape against two young girls, aged 9 and 10. He was sentenced to six years in prison, with the sentence backdated to May 16, 2022.

In addition to his prison sentence, Smith was also placed on the sex offenders register for life. The court determined that his actions constituted serious offenses, and the sentence reflects the severity of his crimes.
