Convicted Sex Offender Faces Potential Custody for Possessing Thousands of Child Images

Peter Hollamby, 32, of Louise Close, Great Yarmouth, pleaded guilty to breaching his sexual harm prevention order and three counts of downloading indecent images of children at Norwich Crown Court.

The court revealed that the case involved over 3000 images, downloaded across various devices including a mobile phone and computer tablet.

Judge Stephen Holt, while adjourning the case for reports, issued a stern warning to Hollamby: "Custody must be very much on the cards, but it will be up to the sentencing judge."

Chris Youell represented the prosecution, while Danielle O'Donovan acted for Hollamby. Hollamby was granted conditional bail and is scheduled for sentencing on February 4.
