Committed sex acts in front of schoolgirls.

A man was sentenced to 18 months in prison for committing lewd sex acts in front of teenage girls.

Samuel Ramos, 27, was convicted of four offenses related to public indecency. The incidents occurred in Carlisle, England, between February and March of this year.

The first incident involved Ramos exposing himself through a window near a primary school. He was later seen committing similar acts in a Primark store on two separate occasions, one of which involved a 15-year-old girl who was with a friend.

The final incident involved Ramos exposing himself to two 13-year-old girls who were walking to school. The girls reported the incident to the police and were visibly distressed.

Ramos had been arrested after the first incident but continued to commit the offenses while on bail. He admitted to the charges and was sentenced to 18 months in prison.

The judge, Recorder Mark Ainsworth, stated that he was presented with a "very difficult" decision but concluded that Ramos's actions warranted a prison sentence.

Ramos was also placed on the sex offender notification requirements for 10 years and is subject to a 10-year prevention order.

Cumbria police urged victims of sexual offenses to report incidents to the police.
