Man Sentenced to 7.5 Years for Sexual Assault in Hull

Shko Khdri, 28, of Walliker Street in Hull, was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison at Grimsby Crown Court on Tuesday, March 12. He previously pleaded guilty to sexual assault in December 2022.

The court heard that the victim was walking on Carr Lane after leaving a nightclub when she was approached by Khdri. He then sexually assaulted her.

As the victim attempted to flee, Khdri further assaulted her violently. A struggle ensued, and the woman was able to escape to Paragon Street where she sought safety with a member of the public.

Following the attack, police conducted an extensive investigation. They recovered CCTV footage capturing the assault and a clear image of Khdri.

A public appeal to locate Khdri was issued, and he was arrested three days later at his place of work.
