Man Jailed for Over 13 Years for Child Sex Offences

Timothy Hayes, 50, of Sutton-on-Sea, Mablethorpe, has been sentenced to 13 years and four months in prison for a string of sexual offences against children.

Hayes was convicted of 10 offences at Lincoln Crown Court in November, including six counts of rape of a child and various forms of assault against a child. He had pleaded guilty to his crimes in a previous court appearance.

On Friday, 19 January, Hayes was sentenced at the same court. He was also placed on the Sex Offender Register indefinitely and given a Sexual Harm Protection Order indefinitely.
