Man Jailed for Filming People in Bathrooms and Possessing Child Abuse Images

Tom Lundgren, 24, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for secretly filming people in bathrooms using hidden cameras and possessing a vast collection of indecent images, including child abuse material and extreme pornography.

Police discovered the illicit images on Lundgren's electronic devices during a search of his home in Gomersal, West Yorkshire, in May 2020. The collection included over 7,500 indecent images, with 1,855 classified as category A, the most serious level.

Among the images were recordings of victims Lundgren had filmed without their consent using hidden cameras in bathrooms. He also possessed 1,507 category B images, 4,461 category C images, and 35 images depicting extreme pornography involving animals.

Lundgren pleaded guilty to charges of making indecent images of a child, possessing extreme pornography, and eight counts of voyeurism. In addition to his prison sentence, he was issued a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.

PC Simon Meakin of West Yorkshire Police stated, "Any act of voyeurism represents the most appalling invasion of a person's privacy, and we have worked hard to locate victims of these offences."
