WIRRAL Man Jailed for Breaching Sexual Harm Prevention Order

A WIRRAL man has been jailed for 20 months after breaching his Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).

Wayne Thomas, 23 and from Birkenhead, was sentenced yesterday (Thursday, August 1) at Liverpool Crown Court.

Thomas, a Registered Sex Offender, is required to adhere to conditions under the Sex Offender Register and his SHPO. He was found to have breached these conditions when he had unsupervised contact with a young girl under the age of 18, without the consent of the child's parent and the approval of Children's Social Services.
