Southampton Man Jailed for Child Sex Offences

A 39-year-old man from Southampton has been sentenced to three years in prison for taking and possessing indecent images of children, voyeurism, and possession of cannabis.

Adam Dervan, of Graham Road, Southampton, was sentenced at Southampton Crown Court on Tuesday, November 7th.

Some of the offences took place in Fawley in 2014. At the time of his crimes, the victim was just eight and nine years of age.

Dervan's offending came to light when SD cards containing the indecent images were discovered hidden on top of a Venetian blind in a room he previously lived in.

Upon his release from prison, Dervan will be subject to a ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order. He is also now a Registered Sex Offender for life.
