A Flintshire man has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for the sexual assault of three girls.

Adam Griffiths, of no fixed abode, committed the offenses over a seven-year period. He was found guilty by a jury at Mold Crown Court in January and sentenced on Monday, February 17th, 2025.

The court handed down three consecutive sentences totaling 16 years imprisonment, along with an additional year of extended licence. Griffiths will be required to register as a sex offender indefinitely and is subject to restraining orders protecting the victims and their families for the next ten years.

A sexual harm prevention order has also been issued against him.
