Delusional Sadist Jailed for Rape and Violence

Andrew Ellison, 46, has been sentenced to 28 years in prison for a string of horrific crimes against five women.

Ellison, from Rochdale, was found guilty of 28 counts including rape, assault, and false imprisonment following a five-week trial. He subjected his victims to a "campaign of rape and violence" over a period of years, leaving them with lasting physical and emotional trauma.

The court heard harrowing details of Ellison's crimes, which included physical and verbal abuse, threats of violence, and repeated acts of rape. He inflicted serious injuries on his victims, leaving one woman with a sliced ear and another with broken legs.

"You are a delusional sadist who has taken no responsibility for your actions and blames anyone but yourself for the sexual violence you inflicted on others," Judge Bernadette Baxter said during sentencing.

"This is very serious offending. It was a campaign of rape and violence, which had a profound impact on their lives for many years."

Ellison showed no remorse for his actions and continues to deny the offences. He was described as a "selfish, careless bully" by the judge.

Greater Manchester Police commended the bravery of the victims for coming forward and reporting Ellison's crimes. They described Ellison as an "extremely dangerous individual" who fully deserves the sentence imposed.

The Crown Prosecution Service said that Ellison is a "prolific sex offender and a danger to women" who sought sexual gratification from controlling his victims. They praised the courage of the women who came forward to report his crimes.
