Andrew Shore, a resident of Croome Gardens in Bourton On The Water, Gloucestershire, was sentenced to seven years and three months in prison on March 26, 2025.

Shore was found guilty by a unanimous jury verdict at Manchester Crown Square Court for the rape of a female under the age of 13 and indecent assault. These offenses occurred in Rochdale during the early 2000s when the victim was 11 years old. At the time, Shore was 16 years old and held a position of trust.

In addition to his prison sentence, Shore received a restraining order against the victim and will be subject to lifelong sex offender requirements.
