Doncaster Paedophile Jailed for Sex Attacks on Child

Anthony Halstead, 35, of Baytree Grove, Auckley, has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for a series of sexual assaults on a child under the age of 13.

Halstead was found guilty of seven counts of sexual assault of a child under 13 following a trial at Sheffield Crown Court.

In addition to his prison sentence, Halstead will serve an extended licence period of one year. He will also be required to sign the sex offender register indefinitely and is subject to a sexual harm prevention order and restraining orders for 25 years.
