Vile sex pest forced himself on teenage girl in her own home.

A 25-year-old man, Ashley Wilcock, was sentenced to a one-year suspended prison term for a sexual assault incident that occurred in 2018.

Wilcock, who admitted to sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl, was intoxicated at the time of the incident. He had contacted the girl via text message, asking her to share a cigarette with him, and went to her home. When she asked him to leave, he became aggressive, smashing a bottle of wine and cutting his hand. He then made unwanted sexual advances towards her, kissing her neck, touching her thighs and chest, and leaving a blood-stained palm print on her T-shirt.

The incident lasted for approximately 30 to 45 minutes, during which the girl repeatedly asked Wilcock to leave. He refused, following her around her home and even taking her mobile phone when she tried to call the police.

Wilcock later apologized to the girl at her workplace, and has since been convicted of other offenses, including assaulting a police officer, causing criminal damage, and breaking a woman's wrist during a fight. The judge noted that Wilcock "may have a problem with women" based on his actions and convictions.

In addition to the suspended prison sentence, Wilcock was ordered to complete a sex offender program, participate in 55 days of rehabilitation, and abstain from alcohol. He was also placed on the sex offender register for 10 years.
