A Newport man, Bradley Bullock, has been sentenced for multiple offenses including the rape of a 15-year-old girl.

The court heard that Bullock targeted the victim, knowing her age and using alcohol to facilitate the crime. He committed the rape while the victim was vomiting, making the situation particularly humiliating.

Bullock was also sentenced for a burglary and robbery that occurred after the sexual offenses. He had been sectioned at one point and was described as "clearly mentally unwell" at the time of some of the crimes.

The defense argued that the victim was drinking willingly and that the rape was an opportunistic crime. However, the court emphasized the severity of the offenses and the impact they had on the victims.
