Bradley Holloway Sentenced to 6 Years for Rape of a Minor

A Reading man, Bradley Holloway, has been sentenced to six years in prison for two counts of rape committed against a six-year-old girl when he was a teenager. The 32-year-old was found guilty following a trial in December and was sentenced this week at Reading Crown Court.

The victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, shared in court that the abuse caused her to suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder and forced her to sleep with the light on. Holloway committed the sexual offenses every Sunday, attempting to bribe the victim with toys to remain silent.

Judge Hassan Khan sentenced Holloway to six years for each count of rape, to be served concurrently. He will be eligible for release on license after serving at least half of the sentence. Additionally, a sexual harm prevention order has been imposed.

The court was informed that Holloway is currently seeking an appeal against his conviction.
