Kent Sex Offender Jailed for Indecent Images

A Kent sex offender, Christian Tuck-Brown, has been sentenced to three years and four months in prison for possessing indecent images of children and breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

Tuck-Brown, 39, of High Street in Canterbury, was found to have 41 films and 15 indecent images of children on a memory stick during a police visit to his home in March 2021.

The offender, who has previous convictions for possessing indecent photos of children and voyeurism, was subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, requiring him to declare the presence of children at his address and undergo regular police visits.

Kent Police officers discovered a child at Tuck-Brown's address during an unannounced visit on March 13, 2021, leading to his arrest on March 26. The subsequent investigation uncovered the indecent images and a violation of his reporting obligations.

Tuck-Brown pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images, 10 breaches of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and failing to notify police of a child's presence at his address at Canterbury Crown Court on January 18, 2022.

Dan Webley, an investigator for Kent Police's Violent and Sexual Offenders Register (ViSOR) team, stated, "Christian Tuck-Brown was aware of the rules he was required to follow, but chose to disregard them. Thanks to the vigilance of the ViSOR team, his offenses were uncovered, and he is now in prison, unable to pose any further risk to the public."
