Retired British Transport Police Officer Pleads Guilty to Child Sex Abuse

A 76-year-old retired British Transport Police officer, Christopher Aldridge, has admitted to sexually abusing a child over a five-year period, beginning when the victim was just nine years old.

Aldridge appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court, where he pleaded guilty to two charges of using lewd, indecent and libidinous practices and behaviour towards the child.
